The location of this stunning countryside holiday home was mind-blowing, perfect for dog walkers. We loved the convenience of having an excellent pub, fish and chips, and Indian restaurant right in the village, as well as a nearby Spar. It was so easy to explore major Derbyshire attractions and even pop over to Sheffield. The well-equipped kitchen and thoughtful provision of basics made our arrival super easy. The reliable WiFi was a bonus. The little garden was perfect for our dogs, and the cozy and beautifully decorated interior made for a super comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly helpful and even provided a lovely hamper upon arrival, going above and beyond by arranging flowers for my mother's birthday. The hygienic touches like mattress and pillow protectors were impressive. Clear instructions for departure and bin usage added to the convenience. The fresh towels and comfy sofas made for a perfect night in. We couldn't fault it and highly recommend it! Oh, and the fish and chips from around the corner were absolutely amazing, especially when enjoyed by the river. Don't miss out on visiting the beautiful Eyam Village just up the road from the cottage. a truly perfect stay.

Stunning old house, sympathetically decorated. Spotlessly clean. Enough space for six adults and two children. Pub practically opposite for meals. Indian takeaway within walking distance. Perfect stay for our golden wedding anniversary.
Rooms were smaller than expected, apart from the master bedroom. Rest of the rooms felt cramped.

We got excellent value for our money at the Coach House Holiday Home. The cottage was absolutely gorgeous and had everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The location was stunning, surrounded by picturesque countryside and perfect for dog walkers. We also enjoyed the convenience of having a pub, fish and chips shop, and an Indian restaurant in the village. Louise, the host, was fantastic and even went above and beyond to help us retrieve a forgotten tablet by posting it back to us. a highly recommended stay!
The hotel breakfast menu could benefit from the addition of some proper oven gloves. While the kitchen was well equipped, a few of us experienced burns when trying to handle hot items using just tea towels or small silicone finger protectors.

The village had a lit pub just across the road and a banging chippy and Indian restaurant for takeaways. The cottage was proper clean and the check-in was a piece of cake. The hosts were quick to answer all our questions. We had a wicked time exploring the Peak District and hitting up Buxton Opera House for some sick gigs.
The only thing that would've made it even more epic would be if there was a party room in the cottage. It would've been sick to have a spot to turn up the music and have a proper rave with our crew.

I recently stayed at The Coach House Holiday Home for a weekend getaway with my family. The location was fantastic, with plenty of beautiful walks right from the doorstep, and we loved exploring the nearby villages. The hosts were incredibly helpful, from providing us with a lovely hamper upon arrival to even arranging flowers for my mother's birthday. The property itself was clean, cosy, and had everything we needed. We didn't want to leave! Highly recommended!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The holiday home was spacious and well-decorated, with a fully functional kitchen and a great enclosed garden. The bedrooms were comfortable, and there was ample parking available. I also enjoyed the fact that the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with easy access to nearby attractions and walking trails.
They appeared much larger in the photos, and if all eight of our group had been able to come, it would have been very cramped. it would have been helpful to have proper oven gloves in the kitchen, as the teatowels and silicone finger thing provided were not sufficient and led to a few burns while cooking.
